Katja is the founder of Workind and a People & Culture strategist with senior global leadership roles in tourism, hospitality, tech, and insurance. She has lived and worked in the United States, Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Aruba, and Qatar — leading projects that spanned over 120 countries worldwide. Her career includes serving as Group Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing at Zurich Insurance, senior HR leadership roles at Allianz and Credit Suisse, and global People & Culture projects for the Lufthansa Group.

She holds a Ph.D. in Management/Organizational Behavior from Erasmus University Rotterdam, with research in cultural diversity leadership conducted in partnership with Lufthansa Group, alongside degrees in Global Management (Antwerp Management School) and Sports Sciences (German Sport University Cologne).
